Participants will be asked to justify approaches/choices they make. Unit 2 - Learning domains and Bloom's Taxonomy Learning objectives: - To compare and contrast the different types of learning gaps and evaluate the optimal approach for a given audience. - To state the aspects of evaluating and analysing an audience and its value for ID. - To explain the essential elements and underlying principles of needs analysis. - To evaluate specific example audiences and present appropriate learning strategies . - To describe, discuss, and critically evaluate Gagne and Bloom's idea of Learning Domains. - To describe, discuss, and critically evaluate the use of Bloom's Taxonomy to inform an appropriate learning framework. - To apply these outcomes to participant’s chosen project. Participants will be asked to justify approaches/choices they make. Unit 3 - Defining objectives and choosing delivery formats Learning objectives: - To define what aims, learning objectives, and learning outcomes are. - To write and evaluate effective learning objectives using Blooms verbs. - To compare and contrast different delivery formats. - To evaluate and recommend appropriate delivery formats for different learning use cases. - To apply these outcomes to participant’s chosen project. Participants will be asked to justify approaches/choices they make. Unit 4 - Designing content Learning objectives: - To describe the concept of a learning storyboard and state its value. - To evaluate sample story boards an evaluate their effectiveness. - To compare and contrast different ways to create an effective storyboard screen. - To create a simple storyboard for a chosen project. - To use storyboard screens to help inform the development of learning topics. - To apply these outcomes to participant’s chosen project. Participants will be asked to justify approaches/choices they make. Unit 5 - Evaluating learning Learning objectives: - To explain the benefits of evaluation and its relationship to analysis and design. - To describe the Kirkpatrick evaluation approach. - To determine which aspects of learning/training should be evaluated. - To discuss shortcomings of the Kirkpatrick approach. - To compare LTEM (Learning Transfer Evaluation Model) approach with Kirkpatrick approach. - To apply these outcomes to participant’s chosen project.
